The Death By Stereo Compositions

1994 I had the opportunity to join a group of great musicians that plays thrash metal ( the Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer era).
We recorded two albums under a major label and did some stadium concerts together with other famous bands of the time. From those two albums and a session from the third album (which i didn't had the time to continue finishing the recording) I compiled the songs i composed to post here in my blog.

"Salot" (2nd album, track 1) - is about the Third-Anti-Christ and the Future Holocaust. It's about how humans create their own destruction.

"Amuyong" (2nd album, 2nd track) - is about the False Prophets, Fake Politicians, and Senseless writings and propagations.

"Harana sa Dilim" (1st album, track1) - the opening track of the first album. The orchestral guitar arrangement inspired by Brian May of Queen. A Theatrical opening for the exploding single "Tonio" of the first album.

"Tonio" (1st album, track 2,first single) - tackles drug addiction, on how it destroys youth and one's dream to success and the disappointment of the parents struggling for their children's future, all destroyed because of drugs.

"Manyakis" (1st album, track 7, 4th single) - is about Deception, Miracle Men and the act of being violent, vulgar, or commiting incest, phedophelia or disgusting sexual acts.

"Salot" v.2 (3rd album) - re-recorded with new rhythm section. The other guitarist is Albert Montinola who i respect as one of the best guitarist of this era.

"Ang Pagkabuhay" - The 2nd Harana sa Dilim, written for the 3rd album as the opening. Orchestral guitars on 20 tracks.

"Mga Tunay Na Baliw" (1st album, final track) - is about the bad habits. Gambling, Gossip, tackling anyone's life, any rubbish attitude we all must flush down.

The Chronicles of Death

This group emerged before the fore of the Second Filipino Rock era of the early 90's (the first was the legendary Pinoy Rock movement in the early 70's prompted by The Juan DeLa Cruz band). The group was basically a Thrash Metal outfit in the realms of the Big Four of the time, namely as Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax, and Slayer. The different influences of each member contributed to the bands own tag, forming the "Death By Stereo" music.
